The presentations will take place in the Paul Scherrer lecture hall. The entrance to the lecture hall is located on floor F.
Public transport
The streetcar stop Voltastrasse (line 5 and 6) is located directly in front of the building. Streetcar line 6 offers a direct connection to the main station (stop is called Bahnhofquai/HB). Travel time from/to the main station is 10 minutes.
From the Voltastrasse stop, walk about 50 meters downhill. Due to construction work, you will have to enter the building via the “ETZ Lieferung” entrance. In the building, follow the signs to the stairs or elevators. The lecture hall is located on floor F.
The timetables for public transport in Zurich can be found on the ZVV website. The city of Zurich is located in tariff zone 110 of the Zurich Transport Association. A single trip within this zone costs CHF 4.40, a day ticket (valid 24h) costs CHF 8.80. A one-way trip between the Voltastrasse and Bahnhofquai/HB stops counts as a short trip and costs only CHF 3.10. Tickets are available from vending machines at the stops, in the ZVV ticket app or the SBB app.
Parking
The building is equipped with underground parking. The parking spaces are subject to a fee. Please buy a parking ticket at the vending machines and put it behind the windshield. You can pay with cash or credit card.
- CHF 2.00 per hour (from 7 am until 5 pm)
- CHF 1.50 per hour (from 5 pm until 7 am)
- Entering the parking garage is possible between 7 am and 8 pm
- During nighttime, only ETH employees can enter the parking garage
